Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, production operations, or NOC roles in high-availability environments.
- Previous experience working at a gaming company.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to trace symptoms through application logs, APM, metrics, and network paths.
- Hands-on experience with Datadog (or Grafana, Splunk, New Relic, Elastic).
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Go, or Bash).
- Clear written and verbal communication skills in English for technical documentation and incident updates.
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred, AWS/Azure acceptable).
- Understanding of SLOs, error budgets, and burn-rate alerting.
- Experience with incident management tooling including JIRA Service Management, PagerDuty, Slack, and Confluence.
- Comfort with 24x7 shift-based operations and rotating weekend on-call duties.
Responsibilities
- Monitor GTO operational dashboards in Datadog and detect anomalies across logs, metrics, and APM.
- Triage and investigate production incidents by creating and managing tickets in JIRA Service Management.
- Own lower-severity incidents end-to-end from initial detection through resolution.
- Assist the TSO Lead during major incidents by surfacing real-time data and maintaining live incident timelines.
- Draft incident communications including Slack updates and customer-facing status page notifications.
- Analyze incident trends and compile data for regular reports and PIR documents.
- Build and maintain operational automation scripts and runbook procedures.
- Conduct structured shift handoffs to ensure continuous service coverage.
