Requirements
- Completed commercial training or a comparable qualification.
- Proven professional experience in autonomous payroll accounting.
- Sound knowledge of German wage tax and social security law.
- Experience with payroll systems, ideally SAP.
- Independent, accurate, and reliable working style.
- Strong team spirit, flexibility, and perseverance.
- Fluent in German (written and spoken).
- English language skills are considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end payroll for a defined group of employees independently.
- Advise clients on all aspects of payroll and serve as a competent point of contact.
- Implement new HR software solutions to improve payroll process efficiency.
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll accounting in compliance with tax, social security, and labor law regulations.
- Serve as the primary contact for employees regarding payroll, wage tax, and social security inquiries.
- Clarify payroll issues in coordination with internal HR and finance departments.
