Requirements
- Initial experience or exposure to cybersecurity (internships, academic projects, certifications, or first professional experience in SOC or CTI).
- Basic understanding of OSINT techniques and interest in deep/dark web monitoring.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain, NIST, and OWASP.
- Basic knowledge of CVE/CVSS concepts and vulnerability assessment principles.
- Exposure to SIEM tools (preferably Microsoft Sentinel or Elastic) in academic or practical environments.
- Basic understanding of at least two domains such as Windows, Linux, networking, firewall, WAF, IAM, or cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Introductory knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
- Strong communication skills in both written and verbal formats.
- Analytical mindset with curiosity for cybersecurity and threat intelligence.
Responsibilities
- Monitor cyber threat activity across open sources, deep web, and dark web environments under the supervision of senior analysts.
- Support the production of cyber threat intelligence reports, including identification and documentation of indicators of compromise (IOCs).
- Assist in threat hunting, threat modeling, and vulnerability management activities within security operations workflows.
- Collaborate with SOC, CSIRT, Red Team, and risk management teams on daily security operations and investigations.
- Contribute to client-facing meetings by supporting the presentation of findings and technical insights.
- Help maintain awareness of evolving threat landscapes and cybersecurity trends through continuous monitoring and research.
- Support the use and enrichment of threat intelligence platforms and structured data sharing formats.
