Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer or in a closely related engineering role.
- 2+ years of experience working with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Strong Python skills with ability to write maintainable, production-ready code.
- Advanced SQL proficiency and experience with relational databases.
- Expertise in DWH data modeling, ETL/ELT architectures, and modern data design patterns.
- Solid understanding of cloud architecture, networking fundamentals, security, APIs, and scalable systems.
- English language proficiency at B2 level.
- Experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, or PySpark is a major advantage.
- Hands-on knowledge of Apache Airflow or other orchestration tools.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform, or Bicep.
- Familiarity with AI/ML pipelines or MLOps environments.
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing scalable, production-grade data pipelines, data models, and data processing frameworks in cloud environments.
- Leading the technical design of cloud data architectures, contributing to standards, guidelines, and long-term platform strategy.
- Driving best practices in data engineering including quality assurance, lineage, observability, testing, automation, and documentation.
- Optimizing data workflows for performance, cost efficiency, and reliability across distributed systems.
- Collaborating closely with clients and senior stakeholders to understand requirements, propose solutions, and communicate technical decisions.
- Working with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and automation to streamline deployments and operations.
- Integrating data solutions with BI, ML, and application layers across diverse client environments.
- Mentoring mid-level engineers to support their technical growth.
