Job Details

Languages: Native proficiency in English with excellent command of Korean; rationales for work must be written in both English and Korean.
Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in translation with a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field OR 5+ years of professional translation experience without a formal translation degree.

Demonstrated experience as a copywriter
Strong understanding of marketing tone, brand voice, and customer-facing communication
Excellent attention to detail, terminological consistency, and linguistic accuracy
Ability to deliver high-quality copy edits while meeting deadlines
Flexible, reliable, and responsive in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and openness to feedback and revisions

Responsibilities

Create 8 English title options across two distinct creative exploration groups for Korean content
Ensure titles balance natural English with cultural authenticity while reflecting the original Korean title's core meaning and storyline
Collaborate with client stakeholders and answer questions regarding title choices
Provide written rationales for title choices in both English and Korean when requested
Deliver high-quality copy edits while maintaining terminological consistency and linguistic accuracy
Meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
