Requirements

  • Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 10+ years of industry experience in marketing science, growth data science, or econometrics for M.S. holders; 6+ years for Ph.D. holders.
  • Deep understanding of the marketing ecosystem.
  • Hands-on experience with Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM).
  • Experience with Incrementality Testing and Customer Lifetime Value (LTV) prediction.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python or R.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL.
  • Experience building production-grade data pipelines.
  • Experience using machine learning for predictive modeling, such as churn prediction or lead scoring.
  • Proven track record of influencing C-suite stakeholders.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments.

Responsibilities

  • Define the 2–3 year technical roadmap for marketing measurement and establish North Star metrics.
  • Build and refine Media Mix Models (MMM) and Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA) systems to quantify incremental marketing impact.
  • Design unified frameworks to optimize marketing aimed at both new advertisers and new users.
  • Lead the design of complex incrementality testing and geo-holdout experiments.
  • Translate complex data insights into actionable budget shifts through collaboration with Marketing, Growth, and Finance.
  • Mentor junior scientists and set the technical bar for code quality and statistical rigor.
