Job Details

Experience: At least 5 years

Requirements

At least 5 years of accounting experience within a CPA firm.
Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
Strong hands-on tax planning and preparation skills.
Ability to thrive in a self-driven, remote environment.
CPA or actively pursuing CPA designation (preferred).
Experience with UltraTax (a plus).
Prior experience working with dental or healthcare clients (preferred).

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary contact for a dedicated book of 30 to 40 clients via email, Zoom, and phone.
Meet with clients quarterly to review financial statements and provide strategic insights.
Oversee general ledger activity, financial statement preparation, and account reconciliations.
Facilitate tax compliance by preparing returns and providing clean financials to the tax department.
Review transactional work and ensure monthly accounting activities remain on schedule.
