Requirements
- Several years of professional experience as a Java Software Engineer, ideally at a senior level.
- Very good knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and JPA/Hibernate.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, DB2, PostgreSQL).
- Confident use of Git, Jira, and Confluence.
- Proven experience in the maintenance, incident, or ticket environment of productive applications.
- Good knowledge of REST APIs and the analysis of complex technical contexts.
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form.
- A structured, independent, and reliable working style.
- Knowledge of frontend technologies (e.g., Angular / Angular Material) is ideal.
- Knowledge of event or service-oriented architectures (e.g., Kafka) and CI/CD/container environments (Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Experience in the banking or financial services sector is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Process incidents, changes, and tickets within existing banking applications.
- Analyze, evaluate, and resolve errors in Java-based legacy applications.
- Maintain, support, and further develop multiple production systems.
- Implement technical requirements while adhering to regulatory guidelines.
- Perform developer and integration tests and manage handovers to downstream test stages.
- Document work results and technical contexts in Jira and Confluence.
- Collaborate within an agile, cross-functional project team.
