Requirements
- 10-15 years of work experience as a controls engineer, programmer, or equivalent.
- Expertise in HVAC and Data Center cooling control methodologies, strategies, and chiller plant fundamentals.
- Experience designing, programming, or working with industrial control systems and protocols like BACnet and Modbus.
- Knowledge of applied thermodynamics for cooling, refrigeration, and hydronic systems.
- Experience programming with PLC, ladder logic, text, or block programming languages.
- Proficiency reading and writing Python scripts to implement Insights and tooling.
- Ability to analyze performance and viability of engineered solutions.
- Strong communication skills for explaining complex technical and AI concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Experience working independently to resolve support tickets and managing project documentation.
- Educational background in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Control Theory, or Applied Mathematics.
Responsibilities
- Create facility models for product ingestion by mapping tag data and reviewing Insights logic.
- Act as a subject matter expert to identify and define product requirements based on customer needs.
- Collaborate with Data Science and Product teams to scale automated tools across customer deployments.
- Analyze and triage systems during the support phase.
- Lead the deployment and support of multiple solutions simultaneously.
- Manage project delivery while mentoring peers and delegating tasks within the team.
