Requirements
- Solid understanding of the Shopify architecture (Liquid, Storefront API, Admin API)
- Frontend development skills extending beyond basic theme customization
- Serious proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript
- Experience with Hydrogen or Remix (preferred)
- Experience with app integrations like Klaviyo or Rebuy (preferred)
- Understanding of conversion optimization
Responsibilities
- Develop, migrate, and optimize Shopify shops ranging from Liquid components to custom applications
- Implement frontend themes, sections, and performant HTML/CSS/JS
- Manage backend logic including Shopify APIs, webhooks, metafields, and app integrations
- Work on Headless setups using Hydrogen and Remix
- Collaborate directly with the founder on key development decisions
