Requirements
- 3+ years of backend engineering experience building high-throughput systems.
- Solid experience with Golang.
- Strong understanding of microservices, event-driven architectures, and API patterns.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
- Knowledge of secure software development practices and OWASP principles.
- Demonstrated experience with unit testing and Git-based workflows.
- Comfort using AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Copilot, or similar).
- Ability to communicate technical problems to technical and business audiences.
- Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Adaptability to a fast-moving roadmap and shifting priorities.
- Experience in the payments industry or integrating with Payment Service Providers (preferred).
- Hands-on experience with cloud and DevOps environments (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes) (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Build and evolve high-performance APIs and microservices in Go.
- Develop and extend integration frameworks for payment processing, fraud detection, and authentication flows.
- Take end-to-end ownership of features and integrations from design to production.
- Write clean, well-tested, production-ready code with a focus on observability.
- Apply secure software development practices including OWASP standards and data privacy.
- Leverage AI-assisted development and automation for daily coding, testing, and debugging.
- Collaborate with Product, Compliance, and Business teams to solve technical challenges.
