Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of clinical nursing experience.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of case management experience.
- Strong knowledge of case management principles, workers' compensation, and managed care.
- Thorough understanding of HIPAA regulations, PHI, and IIHI.
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting operational metrics and quality indicators.
- Proficiency with case management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and lead distributed teams in a remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day oversight of nurse case managers, supervisors, and clinical teams.
- Direct case management operations, including referral assignments, documentation quality, and workflow management.
- Monitor operational performance through analysis of reports, productivity metrics, invoices, and departmental data.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, PHI/IIHI regulations, organizational policies, and industry standards.
- Serve as the senior clinical authority for complex case management situations and standards of care.
- Lead performance management, coach supervisors, and partner with Human Resources on employee development.
- Manage client escalations, maintain stakeholder relationships, and support business development initiatives.
