Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA, Master of Taxation (MST), Juris Doctor (JD), or equivalent professional qualification required.
- Minimum of 5 years of corporate tax or public accounting experience, preferably within a Big Four firm or publicly traded company.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in U.S. international tax.
- Minimum of 2 years of people management or team leadership experience.
- Strong technical expertise in U.S. federal and international taxation, tax planning, tax accounting, and financial reporting.
- Experience with U.S. GAAP, ASC 740, and SEC reporting requirements is preferred.
- Experience working with ERP and tax software platforms such as SAP, OneSource, or similar systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills with a strong attention to detail and commitment to professional integrity.
Responsibilities
- Manage U.S. international tax compliance, planning, and financial reporting activities related to foreign operations.
- Lead the preparation, modeling, and reporting of key international tax calculations, including GILTI, Subpart F, FDII, Foreign Tax Credits (FTC), BEAT, earnings and profits (E&P), and related analyses.
- Evaluate the impact of new tax legislation and planning initiatives while supporting strategic cross-border tax planning and optimizing global tax outcomes.
- Partner with transfer pricing, finance, legal, treasury, supply chain, and international business teams to support transactions, business initiatives, and tax-efficient structures.
- Oversee international tax reporting requirements, including Forms 5471, 8858, 1118, 8990, 8991, 8992, 8993, and other related filings.
- Manage international aspects of the income tax provision under ASC 740, including quarterly and annual reporting, reconciliations, disclosures, and supporting documentation.
- Support Pillar Two (GloBE) readiness, compliance, modeling, and analysis while evaluating interactions with U.S. international tax rules.
- Prepare technical memoranda, maintain audit-ready documentation, and support international tax audits and regulatory inquiries.
- Drive process improvements through automation, standardization, strong internal controls, and effective use of tax technology.
- Manage relationships with external advisors and auditors while mentoring and developing members of the tax team.
