Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in QA engineering for SaaS or enterprise-grade web applications with ownership of end-to-end quality.
- Strong expertise in manual testing, test case design, exploratory testing, and validation of complex workflows.
- Proven experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or TestCafe.
- Strong API testing experience using Postman and understanding of REST APIs, including validation of authentication, payloads, and error handling.
- Advanced SQL skills with experience working on SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL for data validation and reconciliation.
- Experience working in Agile environments with strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Solid understanding of SaaS architectures including multi-tenant systems, authentication/SSO, and enterprise workflows.
- Ability to analyze quality metrics and decide when to automate vs. perform manual testing.
- Experience with AI-assisted QA practices (test generation, automation support, defect analysis) is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and continuously enhance QA strategy, processes, and standards to improve overall software quality, release confidence, and production stability across the SaaS platform.
- Design, execute, and maintain manual testing efforts including test plans, exploratory testing, regression testing, and validation of complex business workflows.
- Build and evolve test automation frameworks for UI and API layers, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines to improve test coverage and reliability.
- Perform API testing and validation using tools like Postman, including authentication, authorization, error handling, and regression suite automation.
- Conduct data validation and reconciliation using SQL to verify system integrity, investigate production issues, and validate backend processes and integrations.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to review requirements, triage defects, and communicate quality risks effectively.
- Maintain comprehensive QA documentation including test cases, release checklists, regression suites, defect logs, and QA reports.
