Requirements

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Strong familiarity with iOS platform conventions and Human Interface Guidelines.
  • Strong understanding of application performance, including concurrency, memory efficiency, and smooth scrolling.
  • A track record of delivering high-quality, maintainable code within deadlines.
  • Experience with build tools, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience using AI-assisted coding tools effectively, with good judgment about when generated output should be reviewed, tested, or revised.
  • Experience building accessible iOS experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Build and improve reusable iOS components, patterns, and tooling that support Zillow’s design system and product experiences.
  • Contribute to the implementation and architecture of design system features, writing high-quality Swift with strong testing practices.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools thoughtfully, applying sound judgment about when to rely on generated output and when to validate it independently.
  • Help define and uphold iOS standards, including accessibility best practices.
  • Support testing strategies, code quality improvements, and regular releases to partner teams.
  • Diagnose and resolve integration issues for teams adopting Constellation and other shared system capabilities.
  • Create documentation and educational content that help partner teams adopt the design system more effectively.
  • Collaborate with design, product, and engineering partners to stay aligned on roadmap priorities and improve the developer and designer experience.
