Requirements
- Current MBA candidate at IE.
- 3–7 years of prior experience in investment banking or capital markets at a bulge bracket or elite boutique firm.
- Previous experience at Analyst or Associate level.
- Expertise in at least one area: M&A deal structuring, valuation, equity/debt capital markets execution, sector coverage, or syndicate/book-running.
- Strong financial modeling skills, including LBO, 3-statement, and DCF modeling.
- Proficiency in complex transaction analysis and fairness opinions.
- Experience creating client-facing materials such as pitch decks and market updates.
- Ability to articulate complex investment banking judgment clearly and precisely in writing.
Responsibilities
- Contribute investment banking deal experience to a structured research project.
- Improve AI reasoning across investment banking and capital markets applications.
- Generate content that mirrors senior professional thinking during transactions.
- Refine and evaluate AI-generated outputs related to corporate finance workflows.
- Synthesize transaction processes from origination and pitching through execution and close.
