Requirements
- 1+ years of experience developing content and/or messaging on deadline.
- Strong research and written communications skills.
- Passion for accelerating the clean energy transition.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects and produce quality work on deadline.
- Ability to quickly learn complex topics and digital tools.
- Experience in social media analysis and news monitoring is a plus.
- Experience with digital advocacy and Mobilize.us is a plus.
- Willingness to take creative risks.
Responsibilities
- Produce social listening reports at the start of all clean energy campaigns to assess public sentiment and shape messaging.
- Draft communications materials including talking points, fact sheets, letters to the editor, op-eds, digital content, and presentations.
- Collaborate with communications and campaign teams to execute messaging and content strategies.
- Research and draft volunteer guides and organization-wide messaging materials.
- Monitor news coverage and social media activity to inform communications tactics for community-based projects.
