Requirements

Current U.S.-certified CPST (Child Passenger Safety Technician) certification.
Comprehensive understanding of child passenger safety, occupant protection systems, and crash dynamics.
Knowledge of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS).
Experience working with underserved communities.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse audiences.
Demonstrated leadership qualities and professionalism.
Ability to work in a remote capacity.

Responsibilities

Conduct virtual and hands-on, participatory occupant protection safety training/educational sessions.
Utilize and maintain the integrity of curriculum and resources managed by the National Safety Council.
Engage participants and monitor the effectiveness of education sessions.
Represent the National Safety Council and manage virtual and in-person training sessions.
Support training materials and maintain records.
Participate in course and trainer evaluations.
