Requirements
- 3+ years of mortgage origination experience with emphasis on purchase transactions.
- Active NMLS Loan Originator status with state licenses or federal bank license.
- Completion of 20-hour CORE Pre-Licensing Education.
- Successful passage of the SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator Test – National Component with Uniform State Content.
- Physically located in and working remotely from Ohio.
- Proven success in high-volume, phone-based sales or agent-centric referral models.
- Strong client service orientation and understanding of the mortgage process.
- Proficiency with CRM, loan origination systems, and Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Excellent verbal communication skills with ability to build trust quickly.
- Ability to work in a structured, performance-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Originate and manage purchase mortgage loans from application through closing while ensuring compliance.
- Convert company-provided purchase opportunities into funded loans through proactive follow-up and borrower consultation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and Zillow Preferred Agents.
- Manage an active pipeline to meet service levels, productivity metrics, and funding expectations.
- Utilize CRM and loan origination systems to manage pipeline health and customer engagement.
- Partner with centralized processing, underwriting, and closing teams to ensure efficient loan movement.
- Deliver high-quality customer experience via phone, email, and text communication.
