- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Five (5) or more years of vendor management experience within mortgage servicing.
- Three (3+) or more years of supervisory experience.
- Demonstrated experience in establishing, negotiating, and enforcing vendor contracts and service level agreements.
- Thorough knowledge of the vendor management process.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to organize and meet deadlines.
- Ability to compose detailed reports and make presentations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the CMS Vendor Management department personnel and third-party vendor relationships.
- Manage vendor onboarding due diligence requirements according to Company policy.
- Perform risk assessments of new and existing vendors and develop strategies to minimize risk.
- Monitor and track compliance of all third-party vendors to regulatory and internal policies.
- Oversee monthly vendor scorecard review process, including performance analysis and reporting.
- Manage VM Quality Assurance team day-to-day operations and conduct performance reviews.
- Report to company Senior Management on vendor performance, compliance status, and quality of services.
