Requirements

MD or DO degree.
Board-certified in Psychiatry.
Active, unrestricted medical license in Massachusetts.
Active DEA registration.
Clinical experience treating perinatal, postpartum, and peri/menopause-related mood and anxiety disorders.
Comfort with a fully remote, virtual consultation model.
Strong communication skills for mentoring team-based care.
Additional training, fellowship, or certification in reproductive/perinatal psychiatry (preferred).
Prior experience supervising or collaborating with PMHNPs (preferred).

Responsibilities

Provide clinical consultation and mentorship to a panel of nurse practitioners with a combined capacity of up to 7.0 FTE.
Host a regular group case consultation session for the NP team to discuss complex or higher-acuity cases.
Provide physician collaboration and supervision for nurse practitioners with prescriptive authority, including review of prescribing practices and medical records.
Offer ad hoc, asynchronous consultation on psychopharmacologic questions related to reproductive psychiatry.
Support onboarding of new nurse practitioners with orientation to clinical protocols and best practices.
Contribute clinical expertise to the development and refinement of clinical guidelines.
Participate in clinical quality and risk-management processes, including case reviews.
