Requirements

  • 3+ years of C++ software development experience.
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with Model Predictive Control (MPC), motion planning, and planning under uncertainty.
  • Understanding of vehicle dynamics and control.
  • Understanding of numerical optimization algorithms (e.g., interior point method, sequential quadratic programming).
  • Experience with optimization solvers such as IPOPT or Gurobi.
  • Experience owning and leading technical development from formulation through implementation.
  • Knowledge of Python is a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop state-of-the-art motion control and trajectory optimization algorithms for autonomous vehicles.
  • Design and build robust, scalable software to evaluate control techniques and motion planning algorithms.
  • Provide high-quality C++ code and design reviews.
  • Collaborate with decision planning, prediction, and vehicle control teams to build integrated solutions.
  • Create project proposals for long-term technical roadmaps.
  • Mentor junior team members in product-focused engineering.
