Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3 years of professional experience as an Electrical Design Engineer, RF Test Engineer, or in a role involving RF infrastructure, technologies, and standards.
- 2 years of experience applying Agile and Scrum methodologies to sales and project workflows.
- 2 years of experience performing RF system optimization, signal analysis, frequency planning, and interference mitigation.
- 2 years of experience presenting technical solutions and vendor training to groups of 10 or more.
- 3 years of experience designing and deploying RF communication infrastructure using Atoll, iBwave, and TEMS.
- 3 years of experience interpreting RF performance data, KPIs, and coverage maps.
- 3 years of experience designing/executing project plans using industry standards and protocols.
- 3 years of experience drafting Requests for Proposals.
- 3 years of experience performing radio design for public safety governments using Conventional or Trunked Simulcast technology.
- 3 years of experience creating system drawings of P25 or DMR radio topology in Microsoft Visio.
Responsibilities
- Prepare quotations for complex radio communications systems utilizing RF propagation tools.
- Serve as technical lead for RFP responses, including system design, technical documentation, and pricing.
- Support capture management for strategic RFPs through pre-engagement activities.
- Conduct market research on emerging technologies to validate business solutions.
- Deliver technical sales training on products and tools to partners and sales teams.
- Perform on-site inspections to assess existing radio and dispatch systems.
- Evaluate communications infrastructure components like power supplies, towers, and shelters.
- Present technical topics at webinars, trade shows, and customer events.
