Requirements

6+ years of industry experience as a software engineer.
Experience with REST-based services and API development, mainly using Java.
Experience building UI/UX for new features from end-to-end using React or React Native.
Proficiency with modern JavaScript/TypeScript (ES6+).
Experience with SQL databases, constructing schemas, performing migrations, and writing analytical queries.
Ability to work independently as a self-starter and manage multiple projects under minimal supervision.
GraphQL experience is a plus.
Kubernetes, Docker, or other container system experience is a plus.
Quantitative skills or experience in Finance is a plus.
Experience leading teams or mentoring junior engineers is a plus.

Responsibilities

Evolve APIs supporting user flows to ensure a great user experience.
Optimize queries and relational database schema to ensure speedy response times.
Implement algorithms related to monetary transaction evaluation, risk management, income verification, and other predictive models.
Integrate with new 3rd party APIs to serve millions of customers.
Decrease customer service workload by building product improvements and internal automations.
Implement interaction and motion design for delightful user experiences.
Automate visual testing and visual regression detection processes.
Create new mobile and web clients for upcoming products.
Perform A/B testing and optimize features to boost business impact.
