Requirements
- 6+ years of industry experience as a software engineer.
- Experience with REST-based services and API development, mainly using Java.
- Experience building UI/UX for new features from end-to-end using React or React Native.
- Proficiency with modern JavaScript/TypeScript (ES6+).
- Experience with SQL databases, constructing schemas, performing migrations, and writing analytical queries.
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter and manage multiple projects under minimal supervision.
- GraphQL experience is a plus.
- Kubernetes, Docker, or other container system experience is a plus.
- Quantitative skills or experience in Finance is a plus.
- Experience leading teams or mentoring junior engineers is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Evolve APIs supporting user flows to ensure a great user experience.
- Optimize queries and relational database schema to ensure speedy response times.
- Implement algorithms related to monetary transaction evaluation, risk management, income verification, and other predictive models.
- Integrate with new 3rd party APIs to serve millions of customers.
- Decrease customer service workload by building product improvements and internal automations.
- Implement interaction and motion design for delightful user experiences.
- Automate visual testing and visual regression detection processes.
- Create new mobile and web clients for upcoming products.
- Perform A/B testing and optimize features to boost business impact.
