Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in backend development using Node.js
- Strong experience with RESTful API design and integration
- Hands-on knowledge of GraphQL and related tools (Apollo GraphQL is a plus)
- Experience in building or working with serverless architectures
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills using modern developer tools
- Experience with unit testing, code quality practices, and peer code reviews
- Understanding of scalable system design and backend performance optimization
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and work collaboratively in teams
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (BCA, BSc, BTech, MCA or equivalent)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL-based services for seamless data exchange
- Develop and support serverless application architectures where applicable
- Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and reliability of backend systems
- Write unit tests, participate in code reviews, and uphold coding standards
- Debug and resolve production issues using modern development and monitoring tools
- Collaborate with frontend and cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing
- Continuously explore and adopt new technologies to improve system design and efficiency
