Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation, software testing, or software development.
- Strong hands-on experience with WebdriverIO (or equivalent experience with Playwright).
- Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js within test automation or development environments.
- Experience testing React Native applications across iOS and Android platforms.
- Experience integrating and maintaining automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong API testing experience using tools such as Postman, Mocha, or Supertest.
- Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases for validation and debugging.
- Experience working in Agile environments with tools such as Git, GitHub, and Jira.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and debugging/problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and prioritize work.
Responsibilities
- Extend and enhance a WebdriverIO-based automation framework using a component-driven Page Object model.
- Design, write, and execute automated tests for web and React Native applications (iOS and Android).
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across multiple development pods.
- Integrate automated testing suites into CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast and reliable releases.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to define test strategies and ensure strong feature coverage.
- Debug issues, analyze test results, and provide actionable feedback to improve product quality.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and quality documentation.
- Promote best practices in automation, scalability, maintainability, and shift-left testing approaches.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, grooming, and stand-ups.
