Requirements
- 6+ years of experience with automated testing frameworks.
- Proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or Cucumber.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of different testing types including unit, integration, and regression testing.
- Basic understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and coding practices.
- Experience debugging front-end and backend applications.
- Ability to analyze and resolve issues during testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including developers, product managers, and system administrators.
- Start-up company experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop automation frameworks and scripts, including choosing tools, creating reusable components, and designing test flows.
- Maintain and improve test automation by updating scripts, optimizing test execution, and exploring new testing tools.
- Create automation testing discipline within development and QA teams.
- Execute automated tests, analyze results, and identify defects.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure testability and understand requirements.
- Document found issues, track status, and communicate effectively with development teams.
- Perform regression testing after code changes.
- Document test plans, test scripts, and overall test strategies.
- Work in cross-functional areas with engineering teams in an agile environment.
- Communicate and align automation strategy with engineering teams to improve reliability and performance.
