Requirements
- Strong proficiency in WordPress development, including theme hierarchy, APIs, and custom Gutenberg block development.
- Advanced skills in HTML5, CSS3, Sass, JavaScript, and jQuery, with experience in ES6+ standards.
- Experience with modern frameworks such as React (Gutenberg) and familiarity with Vue.js preferred.
- Strong understanding of CSS Grid, Flexbox, and responsive design principles.
- Experience working with REST APIs, AJAX, GraphQL, and asynchronous request handling.
- Proficiency with front-end tooling such as Webpack and npm-based build processes.
- Experience with Google Tag Manager and WordPress accessibility best practices.
- Familiarity with Git version control and collaboration tools such as Jira and Slack.
- Strong documentation skills and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain scalable WordPress delivery frameworks and custom website solutions.
- Develop and implement new user-facing features using modern front-end and WordPress technologies.
- Integrate third-party APIs and extend WordPress functionality to support custom business requirements.
- Optimize website performance, scalability, and page load speed through code refinement and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, developers, and project managers in Agile workflows.
- Contribute to technical discussions on project scope, architecture decisions, and implementation strategies.
- Document code, plugins, theme modifications, and development processes to ensure maintainability.
- Support existing client websites, including troubleshooting, updates, and ongoing enhancements.
- Build reusable code, libraries, and components to improve development efficiency across projects.
- Participate in website migrations into WordPress and ensure seamless technical transitions.
