Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in WordPress Development.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress platform and architecture.
- Expertise in WordPress custom theme and plugin development.
- Expertise in WP plugin integration including WooCommerce and WPML.
- Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Ability to work in a LAMP development environment.
- Understanding of W3C web standards, semantics, and accessibility guidelines.
- Thorough understanding of cross-browser compatibility and responsive design techniques.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm PST.
- Experience with BigCommerce, Magento, Shopify, ReactJS, or AngularJS is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and provide maintenance support for WordPress sites.
- Develop custom themes and plugins.
- Migrate websites from other platforms to WordPress.
- Integrate and set up plugins such as WPML, WooCommerce, and membership plugins.
- Optimize page speed of WordPress sites.
- Implement SEO/CRO best practices.
- Transform complex PSD layouts into pixel-perfect HTML5/CSS3 templates.
- Create responsive website designs.
- Work with version control systems such as GIT and SVN.
