Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience developing front-end solutions with WordPress.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and modern responsive development practices.
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, or Foundation.
- Advanced knowledge of custom WordPress theme and plugin development following coding standards.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, modern web design trends, and responsive layouts.
- Experience converting design concepts from Figma or similar tools into interactive interfaces.
- Ability to create unique, high-quality digital experiences beyond standard templates.
- Hands-on experience with WooCommerce, custom post types, WordPress actions, hooks, and REST APIs.
- Strong debugging, testing, and troubleshooting abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and manage priorities independently.
Responsibilities
- Develop and build visually compelling, responsive, and user-focused WordPress websites.
- Customize WordPress themes, plugins, and front-end components while maintaining pixel-perfect implementation.
- Translate UI/UX designs from Figma or similar design tools into functional and interactive web interfaces.
- Create custom JavaScript functionality to enhance website usability, engagement, and performance.
- Optimize websites for speed, SEO, accessibility, and compatibility across browsers and devices.
- Collaborate with back-end developers to support API integrations and efficient front-end workflows.
- Build and maintain custom WordPress solutions using best practices for themes, plugins, hooks, actions, and REST APIs.
- Troubleshoot, test, and improve website functionality, reliability, and overall performance.
- Manage source control workflows using platforms such as GitHub or GitLab.
- Perform routine website maintenance, updates, and optimization activities.
- Partner with design and client-facing teams to ensure final solutions align with brand goals and user expectations.
