Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in the data field as an analyst, engineer, or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience designing, implementing, and operating enterprise data models (dimensional or otherwise).
- 2+ years working with large-scale databases or data warehouses, preferably in a cloud environment.
- Proficiency with SQL, Python, and Spark.
- Technical English language skills.
- Ability to communicate complex business activities and technical requirements clearly.
- Proven ability to reach consensus between technical and business teams.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and concepts daily.
- Experience with Databricks, Airflow, and AWS (desirable).
- Experience in artificial intelligence (desirable).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to gather business requirements and design data models.
- Build and provide complete, reliable, and accurate data for the company.
- Design, develop, and extend ETL code and data pipelines for the Enterprise Data Lake.
- Create and maintain architecture and system documentation.
- Maintain core datasets and data products in the Data Catalog to support self-service analytics.
- Develop code meeting internal standards for style and maintainability, ensuring high-scale data environment performance through code reviews.
- Approve data model changes as a Data Team Reviewer and manage specific datasets and schemas.
- Share expertise in modeling and transformation via code reviews, pairing, and training to deliver optimized designs in Databricks.
