Requirements
- Deep, demonstrated knowledge of the WordPress ecosystem, including agency business models and community dynamics.
- 5+ years of experience in B2B software marketing (product, ecosystem, or developer marketing).
- Proven experience building GTM motions including positioning, channel strategy, and audience definition.
- Demonstrated ability to own a market or segment strategy.
- Experience producing and publishing thought leadership content and product narratives.
- Strong ability to align cross-functional teams including product, sales, and external partners.
- Ability to work with ambiguity and drive projects from the ground up.
- Bias for action and ability to define and execute tasks independently.
- Background in security, performance, or infrastructure software marketing.
- Direct experience with WordPress hosting industry events (e.g., CloudFest, WordCamps).
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with WordPress media, community leaders, and influencers.
- Define and execute the GTM strategy for the WordPress audience to drive brand recognition and pipeline.
- Own product launches for WordPress-facing products.
- Develop and manage a digital resource hub and partner program for agencies.
- Execute media partnerships, sponsorships, and editorial placements.
- Direct the creation of flagship content, including industry reports and customer success stories.
- Represent the company at industry events such as WordCamps and CloudFest.
