Requirements
- Associate, vocational, or equivalent degree in biology, clinical lab science, biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, or chemistry.
- 3+ years of laboratory or field experience.
- Ability to clearly articulate and provide directions via phone or email.
- Previous troubleshooting experience on electromechanical instrumentation preferred.
- Previous experience in a medical technology call center or medical laboratory preferred.
- Experience in a customer service environment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to customers through telephone, email, and video conference.
- Resolve hardware, software, assay, and training-related calls for hematology and urinalysis systems.
- Distinguish between hardware, reagent, and software issues to determine if remote resolution is possible or if a dispatch is required.
- Mentor and provide peer assistance for routine troubleshooting.
- Work 2nd shift hours with a start time between 10:00 AM-2:00 PM ET.
- Work one weekend day and rotating holidays.
