Requirements
- Extensive experience leading software testing projects in both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.
- Proven expertise in test planning, estimation, execution, reporting, and quality assurance leadership.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, test management, test environments, test data management, and quality engineering practices.
- Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Xray, Azure DevOps (ADO), or similar platforms.
- Good knowledge of test automation methodologies, with experience supporting automation frameworks and CI/CD environments.
- Demonstrated experience managing QA teams, mentoring junior engineers, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to present project updates, metrics, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail with a passion for software quality.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across cross-functional teams and client organizations.
Responsibilities
- Lead testing activities across complex software delivery projects, overseeing planning, execution, reporting, and successful project completion.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and project teams to understand business requirements and define comprehensive testing strategies.
- Prepare key testing deliverables, including test approaches, test plans, estimates, reports, metrics, dashboards, and test completion documentation.
- Manage project timelines, testing resources, and execution activities while ensuring delivery against agreed estimates and quality standards.
- Define and implement risk-based testing approaches to maximize test coverage, traceability, and defect prevention.
- Support and guide test automation initiatives, contributing to automation framework design and continuous quality improvement.
- Monitor testing progress using industry-standard test and defect management tools while providing regular status updates to technical and business stakeholders.
- Lead, mentor, and develop QA team members by sharing best practices, providing coaching, and fostering technical growth.
- Work directly with clients and third-party stakeholders to communicate project status, manage expectations, and facilitate software acceptance.
