Requirements
- 1+ year of intermediate proficiency in HTML and CSS with a focus on layout and responsiveness.
- Strong foundation in branding and web design principles including hierarchy, typography, and mobile-first design.
- Working knowledge of responsive layouts (Flexbox/Grid) and browser DevTools.
- Basic understanding of SEO best practices, site structure, and image alt text.
- Moderate experience with graphic editing tools such as Photoshop, GIMP, or Affinity.
- Comfortable using AI productivity tools to support copywriting and image work.
- Familiarity with CRM or project management platforms, with Salesforce experience as a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to write structured notes conveying design decisions.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
Responsibilities
- Build and configure client websites directly within Popmenu's proprietary web builder.
- Apply HTML and CSS to refine layouts, resolve styling edge cases, and meet ADA requirements.
- Execute efficient, template-based site builds while maintaining visual quality and brand alignment.
- Contribute to redesign projects and support broader team design requests.
- Perform internal quality reviews using design checklists prior to site publication.
- Source or modify imagery and extend branding when assets are limited.
- Optimize site content for SEO and accessibility using AI tools for copy and metadata.
- Maintain project progress, milestones, and design documentation within Salesforce.
