- Master’s degree preferred
- At least three years of experience with a proven record of developing rigorous, standards-aligned curriculum
- Experience in developing instructional materials, assessments, and lessons
- Ability to embed inquiry-based learning and analytical problem-solving into curriculum
- Understanding of New York State standards
Responsibilities
- Design full-course curricula for high school STEM subjects (e.g., AP Business with Personal Finance), including scope and sequence, unit plans, and daily lesson plans
- Develop student-facing lessons, problem sets, labs, projects, and real-world applications
- Create high-quality homework aligned with the course
- Develop formative and summative assessments with clear success criteria
- Ensure alignment to New York State standards and Zeta’s academic vision
- Embed inquiry-based learning, conceptual understanding, and opportunities for analytical thinking
- Collaborate with academic leaders, instructional coaches, and other curriculum writers
- Use feedback from educators and student performance data to iterate and improve materials
