Design full-course curricula for Elementary School Literacy, including scope and sequence, unit plans, and daily lesson plans
Develop high-quality instructional materials, including student-facing lessons and text-based activities
Create writing prompts, discussion protocols, and projects
Design assessments and rubrics aligned to grade-level standards
Curate and develop diverse, high-quality text sets that reflect multiple perspectives
Ensure alignment to New York State standards and Zeta’s academic vision
Embed explicit instruction in literacy skills including reading, writing, speaking, listening, and analysis
Design performance-based assessments
Collaborate with academic leaders, instructional coaches, and other curriculum writers
Iterate on curriculum based on educator feedback, student work, and assessment data
