Job Details

Requirements

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Department of Education Speech-Language Pathology Certificate.
Currently licensed in Arizona or willingness to obtain licensure.
Experience providing speech-language therapy services in a school or pediatric setting.
Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques for pediatric populations.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in teletherapy (preferred).
Knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and assistive technology (preferred).

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
Develop individualized therapy plans and goals based on assessment results and students' needs.
Provide direct therapy services to students, targeting areas such as articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' communication goals.
Incorporate evidence-based techniques and therapeutic activities into therapy sessions.
Monitor students' progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information.
Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings.
