Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in full stack or backend development.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and NestJS.
- Expertise in TypeScript, MongoDB, and Redis.
- Experience with microservice architecture patterns.
- Solid understanding of AWS cloud environments.
- Proven experience with CI/CD and development environments.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate across product and development teams.
- Demonstrated ability to lead sprints, PR reviews, or small teams.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Average tenure in past roles of 2+ years.
- Bonus: Experience with ElasticSearch, SaaS, startups, or scaling tech organizations.
Responsibilities
- Shadow the CTO to document technical systems including deployments, Redis caching, and microservice architecture.
- Lead daily Zoom syncs with the CTO and Product Manager to align priorities.
- Review pull requests and enforce code quality via GitHub.
- Coordinate internal and outsourced engineering teams across backend, frontend, and mobile development.
- Create and maintain technical documentation in Google Docs and ClickUp.
- Take ownership of 1–2 microservices within the first 8 weeks.
- Support product grooming sessions and convert features into technical tasks.
- Manage deployments, backups, rollback plans, and operational SOPs.
- Define and audit standards for platform security and performance.
