Requirements
- MS or PhD in Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience working in delivery and/or logistics (or 8+ years of industry experience in data science).
- Strong ability to translate ambiguous business problems into well-defined technical objectives.
- Expertise in machine learning and statistics.
- Expertise in experimentation and causal inference.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Experience with source control management tools.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end development and operation of deep learning–based ETA prediction systems.
- Build features, train and test models, and monitor performance in production.
- Collaborate with business, product, and engineering partners to vision and deliver data science solutions.
- Identify opportunities for machine learning, optimization, and causal inference to improve efficiency.
- Build robust and replicable data science models.
- Use experimentation and causal inference to measure model impact on business metrics.
