Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of product management experience with technical, platform, SaaS, or enterprise capabilities.
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience, specifically managing Product Managers or Product Owners.
  • Strong technical fluency to partner credibly with Engineering, Architecture, Data, and Analytics stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in building or modernizing platform, data-driven, or multi-tenant SaaS products.
  • Demonstrated experience migrating from legacy platforms and reducing technical or product debt.
  • Deep expertise in Jira and Confluence for managing epics, stories, and backlog structure.
  • Strong understanding of Agile product development from discovery through post-launch.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and executive audiences.
  • Strong prioritization skills for balancing stakeholder needs with technical constraints.
  • Experience with healthcare, health plan, or regulated B2B SaaS is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product management for platform evolution, including new capability development, legacy migration, and core workflow modernization.
  • Own roadmap planning and prioritization for platform capabilities, balancing business value, technical feasibility, and strategic importance.
  • Partner closely with Engineering leadership to define requirements, sequence delivery, manage tradeoffs, and drive execution.
  • Translate business, operational, and technical needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and roadmap priorities.
  • Lead product discovery across cross-functional stakeholders including Engineering, Operations, Client Success, and Data teams.
  • Establish product discipline around backlog readiness, release planning, and cross-functional decision-making.
  • Act as a player-coach by leading the team while directly contributing to backlog refinement and documentation.
  • Ensure new capabilities are designed as reusable, scalable platform patterns.
