Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering, platform engineering, or solution architecture.
- Airflow expertise authoring and deploying DAGs to production, monitoring execution, and troubleshooting failures.
- Experience tuning Airflow performance, refactoring DAG code, right-sizing infrastructure, and implementing data quality checks and alerts.
- Proven track record of guiding customers through platform deployments, migrations, or technical transformations.
- Strong background in designing cloud-native data platforms on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Programming experience in Python and SQL.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, dbt, BigQuery, or Redshift.
- Track record leading architecture discussions and driving technical decisions with engineering leaders and executive stakeholders.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture reviews, workshops, and technical design sessions with engineering teams and executive stakeholders.
- Design end-to-end platform architectures integrating Airflow with cloud infrastructure, compute frameworks, and data platforms.
- Review delivery work to ensure high standards for scalability, observability, security, and operational excellence.
- Diagnose and resolve issues, guide customers through deployments, migrations, and platform modernization.
- Build reusable tools, frameworks, reference architectures, and best practices that improve delivery quality across the organization.
