Requirements
- 10–12+ years of experience in data, analytics, technology, or enterprise architecture with exposure to governance programs.
- Deep understanding of data ownership models, stewardship frameworks, master data management, and data standards.
- Proven experience implementing data governance in large, matrixed, or federated organizations.
- Familiarity with metadata management, data quality, lineage, and governance platforms.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and drive cross-functional alignment.
- Ability to translate governance strategy into practical execution plans, processes, and measurable outcomes.
- Experience incorporating AI governance, compliance, and responsible data usage considerations into enterprise programs.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with a track record of driving organizational change.
Responsibilities
- Lead the execution and scaling of enterprise data governance programs, ensuring clear ownership, stewardship, and accountability across federated business domains.
- Operationalize the enterprise data governance operating model, including roles, decision rights, and governance frameworks.
- Partner with governance leadership to support Enterprise Data Council (EDC) operations, including preparation, tracking, and execution of decisions.
- Drive adoption of federated data stewardship and domain ownership models across business and technical teams.
- Establish and reinforce enterprise data standards, including data definitions, business glossary, and modeling practices.
- Define governance KPIs and dashboards measuring data quality, adoption, ownership, and business impact.
- Oversee implementation of governance platforms such as data catalogs, lineage tools, and data marketplaces (e.g., Informatica CDGC).
- Ensure governance practices align with AI governance, security, and compliance requirements across the enterprise.
- Embed governance processes into Product, Engineering, Network, Security, and other operational teams.
