Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent hands-on technical experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in construction management, MEP systems delivery, or mission-critical infrastructure projects.
  • Strong expertise in electrical, mechanical, and controls systems commissioning in data center or complex building environments.
  • Proven ability to manage large, multi-disciplinary teams and multiple concurrent projects in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and mission-critical facility requirements.
  • Experience with construction management tools such as Procore and strong proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Solid knowledge of commissioning processes, MOP procedures, and construction safety standards (NFPA 70E, OSHA, LOTO).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to represent owner interests professionally.
  • Ability to analyze complex project data and develop actionable plans under tight deadlines.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 75–100% across the United States and work in active construction environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end construction management for large-scale or multi-site mission-critical MEP projects from design through commissioning and turnover.
  • Serve as the owner’s representative, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, schedule, quality, and safety requirements.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including contractors, designers, commissioning agents, and operations stakeholders.
  • Oversee field execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure compliance with design documents, codes, and standards.
  • Manage construction administration activities including submittals, change orders, RFIs, pay applications, and closeout documentation.
  • Lead project meetings, progress reviews, and stakeholder communications with clear reporting on cost, schedule, and risk.
  • Drive commissioning readiness (L1–L5) and ensure systems are validated, tested, and prepared for operational handover.
  • Identify and resolve complex field, technical, and contractual issues while minimizing risk, delays, and rework.
  • Enforce strict health, safety, and environmental standards, including NFPA 70E, OSHA, and LOTO compliance.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process optimization across construction programs.
