Requirements
- Proficiency in PyTorch including custom architectures, training loops, and distributed training.
- Deep understanding of theoretical model performance, loss functions, and architectural design.
- Strong ability to design and execute independent research experiments.
- Commitment to research rigor and model reproducibility.
- Experience with medical imaging, 3D, or volumetric data is helpful.
- Background in vision-language models or self-supervised learning is helpful.
- Familiarity with DICOM, CT, or radiology is a plus.
- PhD or research publications are a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Develop foundation models that analyze entire CT studies rather than individual slices.
- Implement vision-language learning to connect visual findings with radiology report text.
- Design models capable of identifying multiple urgent findings simultaneously with clinical safety calibration.
- Execute training and evaluation at large scale.
- Manage models and experiments end-to-end, from conceptualization to clinical deployment.
- Collaborate with ML engineers and fellowship-trained radiologists to ship FDA-cleared products.
