Requirements
- Active licensure in Massachusetts as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience working with patients experiencing mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, and substance misuse.
- Experience working with various psychiatric impairments.
- Successful completion of the PMHNP-BC exam (preferred).
- Ability to work in an integrated, team-based behavioral health environment.
- Commitment to maintaining clinical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the integrated care team model alongside physicians, psychologists, and other mental health professionals.
- Provide medication management and individual psychotherapy as primary clinical tasks.
- Perform family therapy, group therapy, and psychological testing as needed.
- Determine patient visit frequency and appointment lengths based on individual patient needs.
- Complete clinical care and documentation for treatment sessions.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide coordinated patient care.
