Requirements
- Current licensure as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in Colorado or Massachusetts.
- Successful completion of PMHNP-BC certification is preferred.
- Experience working with behavioral health issues such as mood, anxiety, and personality disorders, and substance misuse.
- Ability to work under the supervision of a consulting psychiatrist.
- Comfortable working within an integrated, multidisciplinary behavioral health environment.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the integrated care team model including physicians, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and licensed mental health professionals.
- Customize care plans for individual patients, determining visit frequency and session duration.
- Perform medication management and individual psychotherapy as primary clinical tasks.
- Conduct family therapy, group therapy, and psychological testing as appropriate.
- Maintain clinical care and documentation for patient sessions.
- Manage care exclusively for your own patient panel without additional on-call responsibilities.
