Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience in platform or infrastructure engineering.
- Deep expertise in event-driven architecture and messaging systems (Kafka, NATS, or RabbitMQ).
- Strong proficiency with AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS).
- Solid knowledge of database management including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
- Experience with containerization using Docker (lifecycle, resource limits, multi-stage builds).
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Pulumi.
- Fluency in observability tools like Datadog for dashboards, APM, and distributed tracing.
- Proven track record of debugging distributed systems and cascading failures.
- Hands-on development experience with the Go programming language.
- Experience running AI workloads in production or managing multi-tenant container platforms is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a messaging layer for inter-service communication, migrating from synchronous to async patterns.
- Own cloud infrastructure provisioning and automation using IaC tools.
- Build comprehensive monitoring, tracing, and alerting systems to ensure platform health.
- Drive architectural evolution, evaluating and selecting technologies to support platform maturity.
- Debug complex async flows and failures across production distributed systems.
