Requirements

  • Director-level or above experience in HR, People Operations, or a related function.
  • Deep background in HR Operations, People Operations, or Employee Relations.
  • Current or recent hands-on use of an ITSM or ESM platform such as Jira Service Management, Freshservice, ServiceNow, Atomicwork, or Moveworks.
  • Experience as a decision maker or key stakeholder for ITSM/ESM platform selection, implementation, or management.
  • Ability to draw on complex People Ops workflows and ticketing experience to provide nuanced expert insight.
  • Exceptional written communication skills and high attention to detail.
  • Possession of a PayPal account to receive payments.

Responsibilities

  • Share expert perspective on internal ticketing workflows, employee service requests, HR policy, and people operations processes.
  • Assess and respond to HR and People Ops scenarios, such as employee onboarding requests, ticket triage, leave administration, and internal helpdesk workflows.
  • Participate in structured surveys or interviews where domain expertise informs research into service management practices.
  • Provide informed feedback on tools, workflows, and processes related to ITSM/ESM platforms in HR and People Ops contexts.
  • Contribute subject matter expertise to help research teams better understand how HR and People Ops functions use and evaluate service management platforms.
