Requirements
- At least 5 years experience in security or privacy engineering.
- Experience in penetration testing and/or security auditing.
- Strong proficiency in C++ for implementation and code review.
- Strong familiarity with the Web security model.
- Understanding of data protection fundamentals.
- Experience working and communicating asynchronously within a geographically distributed team.
- Ability to navigate and contribute to large, complex codebases.
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Perform security and privacy reviews of Brave browser and Brave Search.
- Triage and resolve reported security vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design privacy-preserving protocols.
- Design and implement new security and privacy features.
